He is a great poster but he said I was dead wrong
Heck I may be but he wasnt down and we PUSHED him whilst in bounds to out of bounds..it looked bad cause he is 5'2 85 lbs
Its not over yet , but from the opening kickoff this version of the wolves looked like they had no energy and just going through motions.. I have seen them several times this year and it just felt off from opening bell
That coupled with the fact we have dominated them defensively is something I wasn't expecting.... this is been a great performance for Shelby.... well except for two fumbles inside their 5...
If we hold on to win I do feel bad for my good friend Mr Lincolnton... but tickled for the Lions just the same

Lincolnton looked like hey lacked energy bit early. Playoffs can take alot out of you, especially if their personel is not as deep. I can see why.
Your defensive line and linebackers have been awesome. Way better than they played the first meeting. And I’m sure scheme has played a role in it too. Great performance. Our guys have been overmatched from the start.

Congratulations to Shelby on the win. Also great season for Lincolnton. Nothing to hang their heads about. Next year they have something to look forward to with lot of players coming back. As I was at the game I realized the last time I was there was in ‘94 when Lincolnton played a really good Bessemer City team in a slugfest. Lincolnton won it. Shelby go win that State Title.

I'm not the best "fan" either, in the heat if the moment, but as more decades pass, I've gotten better at adjusting to losing and winning.

Your team was sensational tonight, as usual. It's why we little guys get so excited when we win every now and again. Most of the fans, players, and coaches I spoke to were polite and gracious, and a few were complete asses. Goes with the territory.
I understand how yall could be bad losers, cuz it doesn't happen often. But with as much winning as you do, Id think you'd be better at that.
I'm here, as the kids say, 10 toes down. I'd have answered sooner, but I was helping opposing fans to their cars, congratulating their players, and picking up trash in the stands. Enjoy your night, your win, your video dunks, and your presumed State Championship.

I called you out with the "he was down, got up and then got hit comment" so I get it...I probably deserved it but still respect the heck out of yall and your team, always have...

Congratulations to the Shelby Golden Lions. You beat us on offense, defense and every other way. Hats off on a very solid win and all the best against the Kinston Vikings in the championship game.

Thank you for all the work and effort you have put in on hot days, cold days and in the rain, too. Thanks for all the pain and bruises and hits you take to prepare for Friday nights, and for all the instructions and patience that our staff offers to you. Thank you for every thrill and joy which have been many, this season. As always, I thank you for everything you did for the people of Lincolnton, who love you dearly. Also, a special thank you to those staffing the press box and concession stands and are of assistance to our program in any way. Side Note: Heard our friends and neighbors, Maiden, lost out tonight to Brevard. Just wanted to offer a big shout-out to the Blue Devils on another fine season. We'll all do it again, next year.
