After taking a butt whipping, Shelby will go back and see what mistakes we made and get ready for the game with East Gaston.
Sometimes a loss is a gift. We needed a step backwards to refocus.
I think Shelby comes out pissed and opens it up all phases of game.

This game will be a glorified scrimmage.. not trying to disrespect East in any way I know those kids play hard and give their all but I believe that Shelby’s coaches will use this game as teaching and working on things that were wrong from last week. That’s just my thoughts. Shelby by all they want

Talking to coach Wilbanks last night. he was humble by the loss.but gave great recognition to Km.
He said go watch film see what we did wrong..go to work Mon...
Said our mission is to go through Dec...
I Hate the loss to KM but there a great team..hope we re-focus and get back rolling.
I agree we need to work with some younger players if get big lead.

Need to work on that running game. Did we even have 10 attempts last game? I don’t care how putrid it is, you still have to run the ball sometimes, if nothing else but to keep the D somewhat honest. Phillips got two carries last game, he has been under used since the Freedom game. Fuller had only 5 rushes. Glad it’s a new week, though, I get sick and tired of the circus.... the drama and pity party that follows the few times that we lose a game. You see it all over Facebook.

Think we had 7 rush attempts....and belive it was neg yrds..
I agree..not bashing coaches but 4 man rush and 6-7 in sec.covering rec. U got to run fb or throw short over top screens.
Alot of people blaming line play....hell u cant hold for 10-15 sec....
Hopefully they see that today watching film.
Also we practice the 2 back set but dont use..
Need to use it more...
Im sure practice Mon will be brutal

This quote from the Gaston Gazette pretty much sums it up: East Gaston hosts Shelby in a troublesome league opener next Friday.

EG will play hard, but won't be able to offer much resistance. Both teams just need to get this game out of the way and stay healthy.

I get a kick of these so called fans and know it alls

we lose a seldom game like Friday against what I thought was the better team that night and people
Lose their minds , blame coaches blame players blame this blame that! We got beat is all that matters

sometimes you lose a game ! So what learn from it use it to get better ! Shelby is shelby and barring something strange they’ll be playing for their 6th out of 7 th state title in a few months

yeah I said it! I ain’t skeered !

friday is over next team is East Gaston! Focus on them ....

I was very impressed with the young man running the ball for KM. You have to make teams respect your running game and do not become 1 dimensional.Go Lions

East Gaston as well as north, bessemer city and cherryville should all merge to form one team ....and they still get 2 wins per year. Shelby by 100 if they want it.

Just got off the phone with Wilbanks. He said Shelbyfan1 didn't follow as many players home this week begging to hang out with them, so they should be rested up for this one. He also said Shelbyfan1 didn't have anything to do with the breakdown of the game film this week, so it should be a different story than last week. Shelby 70-0.

Crestcharger dont speak until spoken too chump..
Ive told u before dont worry about the Shelby program. Worry bout the losers u pull for.
And. What i do for Shelby and the kids is more then you will ever do for Crest.
And Wilbanks say hes not talking to any of u Crest people trying to steal Shelby players by offering housing.......
Get a life littleman....heard u work for city is that at sewage plant...lol

50-0 Shelby. EG played hard, just totally over matched physically and speed wise.
