Both teams have losses, Shelby has played the hardest 2A schedule to date . I'm going with Shelby on this one . Thoughts !

They were much better last year too. You don't have to try to dress up this turd for us. We can see how bad they are. They haven't beaten a team with a winning record yet and are 2-4 themselves including getting beat a combined 117-12 the first 3 weeks of the season. Shelby rolls 31-7
We lost to Burns who gave up 55 to Hendersonville who lost to Mt Heritage. 7 to 0 Shelby if we play good.

The only reason y'all lost to Burns is because y'all didn't attack their weakness which is their run defense. You can say all you want to that it's because Shelby can't run the ball but in that game Shelby had some good runs, it just abandoned. Burns can't stop anyone that can run the ball. I see both Shelby and Mt. Pleasant for what they are. Shelby won't have any trouble with them.
Mount was a lot better last year too. Their only wins this year are against a winless Concord team and East Rowan. Shelby wins this one easier than last year.
There is no mothers milk in that back room,only kool aid.

I think 2a was better than 3a last year. But this year 3a is superior
I'm not sold on 3A either. Crest is no where near the level they were in 14 and 15. We beat KM and Catholic squeaked by Monroe last week. Weddington is pretty decent, but I would take Hibriten over those 3a teams if I had to pick. However, I do agree 2A is not what it was last year.
From top to bottom 3A is still better, take out HIbriten and 2A has nothing to compete with mediocre 3A teams.
Well I would disagree with that. Reidsville and northeastern would have a say so I think. Reidsville is not where they were 2 years ago still a dangerous young team. Can’t forget North Davidson either
Hitman: last year you had-east Duplin, hibriten, Shelby, Wallace rose hill, north Davidson, south point and reidsville
And KM is not ranked in the top 10 in 3A so that statement means nothing. There's a reason there are (2) 2-2 teams ranked in the top 10 of 2A. Weak.
Havelock, Weddington, Hunter Huss, Sun Valley, and Parkland would all rip Hibriten to shreds.
I don't know if I would take Hibriten over those guys. I like Hibriten and I think they're a great team but lets be honest, who have they beat? Even their non conference schedule is weak.

A lot of it has to do with match ups. I think the speed of Crest and Hunter Huss, havelock defense would slow them down.
