don't look good at all ...they mostly look horrible except for Reidsville who looks just mediocre

Small 2A might be wide open

2AA is Hibriten and North Davidson's to lose

Reidsville defense will keep them noticeable for a playoff run. Just not sure the offense will score much. Against better talent anyways. Next couple weeks will tell.

If North Davidson plays in the East this year, they’ve got a shot at getting to the finals, but they’ve got quite a few injuries right now. Randleman and Ledford are strong. Maybe Wheatmore too

Mountain Heritage, Mount Pleasant have a shot to win 2A this year if the ADMs allow. :D

Maybe Northeastern will be waiting for them

I'm not ready to hit the panic button for Reidsville yet. Even if this isn't Reidsvilles year, we are loaded the next few years.

To be fair Burns, Havelock, and Morehead are 3A so I guess everybody is supposed to look bad tonight. Still there has been no dominant performance from any of the usual suspects.

North Davidson’s day 5 attendance is 1104 kids. Still the biggest 2A school. Next year they will dip below 1000.

In terms of Lincolnton we are in some trouble. We played a lot better tonight and held a North Gaston team averaging 50 a game to just 8 but still lost. I think we can get it figured out but we have got to find an offense, something you wouldn't expect Lincolnton having a problem with. We're no where near the conversation of a contender.

LoL now that was funny!!!! Three games into the season and northeastern fans already claiming the title. Hopefully you come to the corral and play some real smash mouth football. You better learn how to throw the pigskin. That one dimensional won't beat SWO this year

Nevermind, Mount Pleasant hasn't won a game yet. 2A West might not be wide open if everybody's dropped off the same amount. Mt Heritage doesn't look like they dropped off yet. Still have alot of season left but we know how that goes.

That said 3A is definitely way better from top to bottom this season.

And Crest is gonna have a field day with Shelby next week. The lions won't do much better than South Point who lost 28-11.

Jumping to conclusions alil too early its only week 3 plenty of time for teams to improve....speaking as a guy that played on teams that started 2-3 back to back years thru week 5 and ended up playing on State Championship Saturday.....i would not count out any of the teams mention above its about peaking at the right time

Shelby could be 0-whatever and they would still be a threat...let's chill on the crazy talk,especially 2a teams that might see them down the road...don't provoke the lions

One of the top 20 players in the state.not one of the best. He won't run on SWO promise you that. NE beat a down SWO team last time u played them. Before that game SWO took NE to the woodshed multi times LoL

After this week when Southwest Onslow beat ED which played in state last year big 2a. Already knock off Wallace Rose -hill. 4 time state champion. 2018 Swo is the beast and the East. Weight room matters

Went to game at NE and home and waxed them boys. NE is over hyped every year big man. Calm down. NE won't win a title for awhile....... and after This year won't make the playoffs for awhile LoL
