Shepard, I know you make 10 million plus a year as a news guy so I think you should know that SC plays GA and Fl every year. Shepard you do know that they sell out every game no matter who they play. Your cockiness is just too much Ole Miss style. Please be a professional while on the radio.

It wasn't nearly as loud as some stadiums I've been in. Any time any team beats a "top 5" team, the fans should get crunk. Shepard should get that.

it was a great crowd. They were very into it. It was as loud as any stadium I've ever been in.

Last season USC had over 80,000 for their home opener vs NC State, 78,000 for UAB, and 76,000 for Wofford (their lowest of the season).

With an attendance 2,000 lower than last year's game vs Wofford, the USC fans hardly considered last night's game "their Superbowl".

Well, except for last night. They weren't full in the upper decks.

We were on the 30, 22 rows up. I mean, it was loud to me, but not nearly as loud as say, DWS at Anthony Johnson's pick 6, or games I've been to at Death Valley (Either one.) Auburn 2 weeks ago, to me, was louder than last night. As loud as it was, I'm just saying I wasn't overly impressed.

for a standing spot on the enter/exit ramps at the corners of the bowl. Per MedDawg's comments, yes, not their "Superbowl." Shep would do good to go to a Clemson-SC game, then re-evaluate his observation.

Yeah, I was at the Alabama game with the AJ pick too, and I thought this was every bit as loud. Also, South Carolina's student section kicks our student sections ***.

First, I like Shep, but lets face it, he is your quintessential Ole Miss student. Small in stature, effeminate, and always looks like he just exhaled a monster bong hit. Put some red pants on that boy, give him a fruitful red cup, and watch him do the macarana in the grove.

I was at the Bama game and at WBS in 95 when we beat SC and Mullethead. I've been to 2 SC /Clemson games and a couple of SC /GA games . It gets very loud however the AJ interception game with 56K was the loudest I have ever heard.

That's just their atmosphere, or at least the games I've seen on tv (usually big SEC games) it has been. I could see how someone who has been watching Ole Miss games would think it was a big deal to SC based on the atmosphere. Maybe all these Carolina games he claims to have been to didn't have much on the line.

EVERYONE plays you like it's their "superbowl." That's just the way it is. You don't get all of that free publicity and media love without paying a price. You can't expect to be a title contender and still whine about folks being pumped up to beat you.

If South Carolina was ranked #4 and came to DWS and we were ahead of them the entire game, we'd be cheering like it was our "superbowl" too. Teams like us, USC, UM, etc don't get to beat #4 teams all that often.

Absolutely. Thier students acted as one complete unit, and was very effective. I yearn for State's SS to become this intense and knowlegeable.
