I watched too much of the game. Also, when I wear State gear, we lose. I wore burnt orange last night, but I wore my State cap yesterday while grocery shopping. Gonna stick with green and gold today.

No. Did some heavy yard work (cut limbs, weed-eater, trimmed hedges...would be far more dangerous superstitiously to wear it then)....I didn't wear it all day vs FSU, so let's say it's an elimination day shirt.

I realize I had been out of the house for the beginning of every single regional game we won. Was at home last night. Also watched most of the game. First time all tournament.

It was all my fault. I ran out of Ghost River Golden Ale. I always drink beer brewed in our opponents home state. We were winning until I ran out. I have taken the appropriate steps to ensure this won't happen today.

I got drunk as **** last year on Abita Amber during the LSU FB game this past season. Might just have to tie one on today.

No mine. I left Mississippi yesterday about 3 pm and got the game on in the 4th. Thought it was late enough into the game but I was wrong. I was motoring in the Texas darkness when the game finished, still a couple of hours from home.

I'll do better tonight I promise.

P.S. Saturday is a great day for traveling. We had zero traffic and made the best time ever for a trip from Smithville to Austin. 750+ miles in 12.5 hours with stops and never more than 5 mph above the speed limit. I found that doing only 5 above, passing big rigs when needed, and staying out of the fast packs not only kept me ticket free, it made the driving enjoyable.

I should have become an old fart a long time ago.
