Luke Kromenhauk to the portal. Who could have seen this coming? I’ll always remember his 1 pass as a Bulldog. Wounded duck.
That’s funny right there! He might be trying to pull a Steve McQueen and escape the Germans.
Another questionable decision among many questionable decisions.Luke Kromenhauk to the portal. Who could have seen this coming? I’ll always remember his 1 pass as a Bulldog. Wounded duck.
I wouldn’t say it was questionable. He showed at FSU that he was a viable QB and you had Shapen coming back after being injured with questions about durability and your only other option at QB was a true freshman. He was insurance.Another questionable decision among many questionable decisions.
With an NIL budget significantly more limited than most of our peers, we spent a sizable chunk on a QB that didn’t play rather than investing in our lines. We have no idea how much he was getting paid. With an NIL budget significantly more limited than most of our peers, we spent a sizable chunk on a QB that didn’t play rather than investing in our lines. That’s the part that was questionable
It’s not a coincidence we went from 40th ranked HS class to 27th and rising.
.I would be willing to bet those on here who think we are behind with NIL don’t donate
Based on the certainty of the rest of your post, you can probably dox all these folks now. Yes?
Then we aren't very good stewards of those donations and aren't getting our moneys worthWe are no longer Po OL MSU
There’s fine if you’ve got unlimited resources. But we can’t afford to tie up that much money in 2 backups at the QB position. We could have gotten 2 or 3 linemen who could have really helped us for what we wasted on him.I wouldn’t say it was questionable. Absolutely a hindsight is 20/20. I'd like to say I would have been able to appreciate the decision had he taken that money and gotten another OL or DL, but that's with the benefit of knowing KT would have at least been serviceable, even early on, just because of his athleticism. But we very likely don't beat ASU if Shapen goes down, and we probalby would have been crucifying him for rolling into the season with no backup other than a true freshman, even if KT was playing ok. But man, if we could have gotten a serviceable OL with what we paid Kromenahcughtouers (which I don't know that we would have), that could have really changed our season. We have no idea how much he was getting paid.
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. If Shapen goes down early in the season this place would be falling all over themselves to criticize Lebby for not having a back up QB.
Maybe not, but we know that both sides of our lines were unmitigated train wrecks, and an FSU QB that’s one year removed from being a 5* recruit didn’t come to Starkville for a coupon to Harvey’sWe have no idea how much he was getting paid.

If we could have gotten 2 or 3 lineman for that price, then absolutely it was a terrible decision. But could we really do that? Did Kromanthchasouxjc have that much hype that he commanded a lot of money? I thought we basically pulled him because he saw we had a QB with a history of injuries and nobody to compete with except for a true freshman. There’s fine if you’ve got unlimited resources. I appreciate your optimism, I really do, but weren’t you the one that was also pumping up our 18th ranked portal class this past Spring while assuring us that we were about to see a much improved O line?Another rumor that I would like to address in here is the limited NIL we have. Thanks to some very generous donors our NIL isn’t lacking and we will be very agressive in the portal. It’s not a coincidence we went from 40th ranked HS class to 27th and rising.
I would be willing to bet those on here who think we are behind with NIL don’t donate…. We are no longer Po OL MSU
I was and had it not been for injuries I think we probably win 2 more games( lost Steen really in last half of camp but injury occurred in USM game, Reese missing games as well) Would you not agree?I appreciate your optimism, I really do, but weren’t you the one that was also pumping up our 18th ranked portal class this past Spring while assuring us that we were about to see a much improved O line?
Our recruiting rankings are a sheer numbers game right now thanks to the volume of low end 3* kids we’re willing to take, and I’m struggling to find ten kids from the 34 incoming transfers that Lebby took this year that contributed much of anything.
Our progress in the NIL department is fantastic, but it’s all relative compared to our peers, and I guess I’ll believe that we’re about to tear it up in the portal when I see it.

What was your predictions? What are you doing to help the cause? Are you a BC/SEF memberLebby cost us more losses than injuries did.
Are you disputing what I said, that Lebby cost us more games than injuries? I can't see your answer mixed in with all of the stuff about my predictions, Bulldog Club, Mullen, negativity yada yada yada which has nothing to do with my statement. What was your predictions? Mullen cost us games against LSU Houston and others but he gets a pass?
Some of you all are just anti Lebby not matter what. And the same anti lebbys would be anti coach whomever. This negativity disease that runs through this fan base is sickening. The refusal to buy into NIl and this program yet continue to complain is just sad
I can see reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. Are you disputing what I said, that Lebby cost us more games than injuries? I can't see your answer mixed in with all of the stuff about my predictions, Bulldog Club, Mullen, negativity yada yada yada which has nothing to do with my statement.

I pointed out Mulien gets a pass for his ineptitude but Lebby doesn’t.
I think Lebby has some blame yes but injuries had some blame as well.
But you are one of the ring leaders of negativity on this board so I’m not surprised by the response
Let me start by saying 1-15 sucks. I acknowledge this. I can also say you, Vegas and 80% of the posters on this board thought 3!wins was the max we would win in 25. We won 5, and should have won 8.Since I'm so negative, you tell me what have you seen in the previous 2 seasons conference games that is positive? I have only seen 1 conference win in the last 2 entire seasons and that was against the last place team in the conference this year that had already fired their coach when we beat them. Go back and watch the final play that we scored on in that game too and try and convince me that if they hadn't missed not one but 2 tackles inside the 10 yd line, we wouldn't have won that one either.
Tell me the positives about our 1-15 record during that time period, please?
My FSU fan coworkers say he wasn't that good. Shocker, I know.Luke Kromenhauk to the portal. Who could have seen this coming? I’ll always remember his 1 pass as a Bulldog. Wounded duck.
