Should we want USM to beat Auburn?

I do, strictly to see Auburn lose. But misery also loves company. I don't want to lose recruits to USM for sure, and we're in danger of it.

But, does USM beating Auburn help or hurt our chances of beating Auburn?

I don't pull for anyone else in the SEC. That may sound bad, but the reason I don't is because I can't think of one instance where anyone in the SEC wanted to see us do well.

I think what would help our chances of beating Auburn would be staying with Carroll, getting Sherrod back, getting Pegues back on defense and more importantly ST's, and Croom getting a clue. The first three are likely the last not so much.

When I saw South Florida beat them in OT last year, I thought we might have a chance. It takes a lot out of a team to come back from such a heartbreaking defeat.

I hope USM can beat them in triple overtime.
