Yep. Too late, but it's a step. Beamer must really be feeling the heat.
So Beamer, 2 coaches in 3 weeks fired. Reeks of "Either make the changes, or you're next in line"
Not fixed until competent replacements are in place.
Got this one wrong. Glad to do so but I bel it’s too late for Beamer. Agree with Harvard’s conclusion above (and that needs to be the case from Donati’s perspective). But if internet dummies can see that is the case then so should useful football coaches. Going to be a hard sell for the next OC - it can be done in some capacity but how optimistic can one really be?
This is a direct reflection of Beamers lack Of Head Coaching ability. When people on your staff fail that means you have failed as a leader. Beamer’s lack of skills as a coordinator prevents him from stepping in and providing direction to improve, that’s why we saw the same offense. I do believe Beamer will be let go after the season for this reason.
That fiery and extended exchange over the headsets that drew attention on television - whatever it was about specifically - probably played into this. Shane lost it on whomever he was taking to.

Fwiw, and poster on TOS posted after the game that he had "inside info" that Shane had 48 hours to fire Shula or he was going to be let go after Clemson.
