Because Bush's season this year has been a joke. Don't get me wrong, jumping 18 feet to score a TD was pretty cool, but he was been terrible this year.

Bush, Vince Young, and Jemarcus Russell better start saving their paychecks for a rainy day.

Unfortunately that is the closest thing Bush will have to a breakout game this year.

I think the Saints realized that he isn't as great as he was projected to be. It seems they have game planned in the past to get him touches just to get him touches. This year, they get him touches when he is open. He is still a great decoy because of reputation.

He is a poor man's Michael Lewis. I would take beer man over Reggie Bush anyday.

throw in the turnovers and he is awful.

When are you the third string HB, and 5th or 6th best WR on the team, and don't do **** at PR except go backwards, that to me is terrible.

I just think everytime he touches the ball that someone on the team would be better suited to get those touches. Also, I don't know what his cap number is, but Im sure it is ridiculous.

if he played there full time. Is he worth #2 overall pick money, no. But, he is a viable weapon the defense has to account for.

My mian problem with Bush hasn't really been Bush himself... It's been Payton's insntance on running Reggie between the tackles. He's not an NFL half back. It's especially aggrivating when there are 2 brusiers on the team in Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell. But now that Bell and Thomas are both healthy at the same time, I think we'll see the occasional jaunt up the gut from Reggie to keep the defense honest, but I think you'll see him in more of a slot-back type role. Which is where he can do some serious damage.

Reggie tears an ACL. But, that's okay, because the Saints are better without Reggie.

The SI Jinx is only on the players, right? Or is that Madden? WTF ever.</p>

you might not like the way he is used, but Reggie Bush is a weapon that all teams would love to have.

The game plan is to get Reggie 12 touches a game
he has 45 att 175 3.9yds/att 3td
he has 18rec 144 8.0yds/rec
punts 17ret 70 yds
80 touches / 6 games = 13.3333

he is used to spell thomas and bell through out the halves... thomas normally plays 1st half and then bring in bell in the 2nd half when def is tired
We don't change out every series because Payton feels like they can get into a rhythm it they have series after series.
We are 6-0 so if somebody is not a 100% we don't really have to play them
If we are going to make a run into the playoffs we will need all 3 as healthy as we can.

I agree with the notion that he was the #2 pick "Reggie Bush" and he has been terrible, but the way we are using him he is doing his job

Could he carry this team? hell no
Can he get you a 1st down on 3rd and 10+ absolutely

he's just currently getting the amount of "carries" he deserves. The guy never was and never will be a "feature" back in the NFL. He's not built for it. Maybe if he gets a slight beer gut and goes on the Lendale White diet. Both those guys needed to meet in the middle to form the perfect NFL back
