Siary's emergence as a dominating starter is one of those things that can ignite a run......

Crazy that we didn't start him earlier in the year, but even still nobody expected the performance he gave last night.

We've all seen Ligon do it before too. If he can quit goatin' around we could be a Virginia 2015 type team. It's all about pitching.

Gotta hope Pico don't have the dead arm too.

Tv announcer said Siary reminded him of Mark Fidrych aka “the bird” and implored the viewing audience to look him up.

Pico: 8 R, 6 ER, 7 runs off of 4 home runs.

He came in having allowed 6 home runs in 43.1 IP (SEC only).

Ole Miss is a home run team, which is good at times (like game 1), but can hurt you if you are over reliant on home runs and can't manufacture runs (game 2).

Hopefully, Pico just ran into Ole Miss when their home run approach was working.

The team Lemonis built has a chance to make a run? That sounds a bit weird. Better make a regional first. Now if we can put together a team that combines last year's pitching with this year's hitting then we'd be hosting.

Yeah, it's not too crazy to think that 3 weeks from now, Kohn will shut down the 2 seed, and then Siary will shut down the 1 seed, and we'll find a way to win the Regional from there.

Last night was fun to watch. I loved the way Siarry attacked the batters & didn’t screw around wasting pitches. A lot of pitchers should take notes of his approach to pitching last night.

Not really. Some of you are too damn rigid in your thinking. First of all, our talent ain’t ever been straight BAD….its just very average or slightly above. When you combine that with a soft, laid back coach, well, they usually don’t maximize themselves unless they have some player leadership, which again is hard to build with that type of coach. Chicken egg. Then the coach makes bad decisions out of the frustration.

I don’t know if Parker can instill any ‘dawg’ in the program or not. But it’s pretty obvious we’ve got a few players who are stepping up and getting an FU attitude. It’s almost like Lemonis was holding that in somehow. It’s not really logical.

You are correct! He failed miserably with Jungling the lineup, and we all know his lack of fundamentals were as bad as any coach we have ever had.
Amazing what a coaching change has done.
