Yeah he only leads the team in scoring and rebounding for the half.

And accept he is giving us all he is ever going to give us, you can appreciate what he does give us. I know thats kind of f'd up, but it's just the way it is. He will never be in shape, he will never be dominant on the defensive end, really he is more of a liability. But he gives us a solid scoring threat as a big, he grabs a few boards, can hit his free throws, and takes a little pressure off of Arnett. That's it, there will never be more, just be happy for what he brings.
He get's picked on unmercifully by the refs and get's rightfully pissed when he does playdefense. He bumps he getswhistled, they crash into him, he gets whistled. He's as much of a team player as anyone on the team. He does need to get in better shape and I hope he works into it. Watch his excitement when anyone else on the team does well and you can see where his heart is, and it's a big change from last year. I'm glad he's a bulldog.
That is the best assessment of the RSS I have read. Yes, I am bummed that he is not the badass beast of a player that he was touted to be....but at this point, I am willing to take what he is able to give and even if it is a situational thing based on matchups and whatever the score is...so be it...if it helps us get to where we want to go as a team. We have a chance to make some noise in the big boy tournament ifStansbury doesn't screw it up. Let it be and ride it out. Take the good with the bad. I'm not quite as passionate about basketball as I am in football or baseball anyway.
He is a TEAM PLAYER... Anyone notice how Big that smile was on his face at the end of the game when he picked up Bost to celebrate...
He is what he is, and we are a WAY better team with him on it than without. He can score almost at will.. The RSS is not going anywhere, you might as well embrace him like our coaches and his teammates have. I just hope he comes back next year.
