Sidney's attorney, Don Jackson, was on Wyatt's radio show last night.

excerpt: "the guy (ncaa dude) has no idea what the hell he's talking about."

...that guy doesn't have a boss, answers to nobody and holds your fate in his hands.

I don't think Sidney gets in..and maybe the NCAA will deny him eligibilty simply out of spite.

He basically has no real leverage, so he is trying to create leverage by openly and repeatedly challenging the NCAA to produce evidence and make a decision prior to the point it is detrimental to Sidney.

In a somewhat comparable situation, FSU President TK Weatheral took a similiar approach when the NCAA decided that the Seminole mascot was offensive, despite the overwhelming support of the Seminole tribe for the mascot. He loudly and successfully made the NCAA look like a bunch fools, and they reversed course. Sometimes a little outrage pays dividends when you are dealing with an organization obsessed with its own public image.

...when some deranged fans come blowing into the NCAA offices wielding AR-15's and shooting a bunch of folks, a la, Columbine. More than likely, they'll be wearing Houndstooth hats.
