I'm not really worried about Sidney's offense. It'll come around when hebecomes betterconditioned. This was the first game I've seen all year, but I was semi-impressed with his approach to defending the post. I noticed him defend with his lower body, moving his feet with his arms up (not reaching). I really only saw him reach once when he was going for a steal. Did anyone else notice this or was it my mind playing tricks on me?</p>

When he gets in game shape, he will be hell to contain. He could be a foul liability until then. He had 4 fouls today in 19 minutes. He fouled out vs va tech in roughly the same minutes. Offensively, he's as good as anyone in the post in America.

well. I liked his attitude and hustle. Still needs more conditioning, but I thought an overall good game for him.

that with Ravern, Sidney, Benock etc. we are going to have to be a zone team this year.

It looks like Stans has pigeon-holed Shaun Smith as a replacement for Ravern. I would like to see Smith get some minutes at the 2 for Benock.

Sidney's talent jumps out at you. He just has to get in shape and learn to play with intensity for 30+ minutes.
