Any of y’all trust the stuff on eBay or are there better sites to get something like a fully signed CWS ball? Im looking to go ahead and snag either a ball or batting helmet, and it’s not like I’d ever worry enough about it to go get signatures authenticated. However, I’d also like to try not to spend $250 on a complete fake

I bought a Mangum signed photo a year or so ago with the alleged COA, and when it arrived, this “certificate” was basically a printed piece of copy paper that said “I promise this is real” with a bic signature below it

Anyway, are there any sites other than eBay worth checking out?

I've been trying to get my sons a couple of balls signed by starters from the team. I've failed miserably. So far have James, Dubrule, Clark, and Forsythe plus a few other guys who didn't play. At this point probably not going to be a good way to get guys who are gone.

I wouldn't trust anything online at all.

One of the vendors in the fan zone in Omaha had home plates with team logos in the center for $40. For $20 more the vendor would get it signed by your team and mailed to you. I had one in my hand, then happen to think about paying $60 for something today and then not ever getting it in the mail.

There is a rowdy Jordan and a Tanner Allen and they look legit on eBay right now. I bought a Tanner Allen one, the guy is from Platteville Alabama.

In the olden days we had a dozen or more balls in the locker room to sign most days. Many times it would be ones that other players put there for all to sign to give to friends or use for barter.
