Is it to try and make a point? Is it supposed to be cute? I can't think of a word I see misspelled so often. I'm not trying to do the spelling police thing, really.
The door checkers probably won't know what it says, nor will most everyone else. However, it would draw alot of attention to itself, and, through word of mouth, I think your message would get out. This could help you avoid the Sign Nazi's. Writing it in Arabic would be classic, but I doubt anyone could translate.
