I didn't have class (Soils Lab) until 12:30 that day, so instead of sleeping in, for some reason I was down stairs watching tv with my roommate at 7:30 that morning. We were flippng channels and saw the first tower on fire. Then we saw the second plane hit the tower. We knew then, this was not normal. We watched tv all day, and I went to lab for all 3 hours. We had band practice that day...I don't remember much about it. We were all pretty much in shock.

I was on break from my science and technology class (3 hr class). I was walking through the little student center/break room/cafeteria and over heard some other students talking about a small plane hitting the WTC. At first all I thought was some small time pilot in a biplane just didnt know how to fly and crashed into the building. Then I was about to walk back to class and noticed on the one very small tv in the room the news was on and students were gathered all around it. About ten mins after I started watching the second plane hit. At this point I knew this was very serious and not an accident. Went back to class and the teacher told us to go home and do whatever we needed. I filled up on gas and got to my apt in Starkville only to find my two roommates glued to the news. I think we had it on fox news for 5 days straight. Will never forget that day, the horrifying sites, the horrible losses, or the ultimate sacrifices many Americans made that day from firefighters, police, military, passengers on flight 93, to normal citizens doing what they could to help ... Heroes were born and made on that day.

I had just woke up at my ex-gf's apartment behind City Bagel and for some reason the TV was on the old Mexican station we used to have on starkville cable. I remember seeing just 1 of the towers on fire and thinking this was some sort ofweirdmexican movie. So i watched it for another couple minutes, then the other tower got hit. I then flipped it to ESPN and it was on there as well. Iliterallyshouted "holy ****" and knew things were about to get real.

and was getting my haircut. After that I left ad drove by the airport. It was weird to see all the planes that were there. That was after they ordered all the planes to land at the nearest airport.

First plane hit right before the first bell rang, and heard about it before class. We were all talking about how big of an idiot that pilot had to be, especially since it was being reported as a "small plane". Then the second one hit in first period, which was C++ Programming with a converted accounting teacher named Ms. Ellis. It started to sink in that something was really wrong. Throughout the day, I remember going back and forth between feeling sick about the losses and feeling angry. Ten years later, I guess I basically do the same thing to a lesser extent.

Took my R6 into the Yamaha dealership for end of season service. Wound up watching what was going on with the salesmen, shop guys, owners, and office folk on a small tv. <div>
</div><div>First heard about it from Billy on the Jon Boy and Billy show while trailering the bike to the shop. Said that he had been informed a small plane like a Cessna or something had hit the tower. More details then came in afterwards.</div>
