This year's team should be ranked in the Top 25, like our football team was to start the season. The difference is, we are actually a Top 25 team in basketball..
We have 3 potential draft picks on this team and the best talent we have ever had in S-Vegas. I think we may actually make a run for the SEC title vs God and his team. Stans may finally get over the Hump and play in the second weekend of the NCAA tourney. The future is bright and it's time to be optimistic about this years basketball team. We are a basketball school, not a football school...Silly Sheep........

All kidding aside, I don't think even Stansbury can jack up this season with the talent on the team. I'm cautiously expecting good things.

the best talent we have ever had in S-Vegas.

In 1996 we had:
Dampier - 10+ year NBA player
Jones - 1st round draft pick, never had a chance in NBA due to injuries
Bullard - would have easily been an NBA player if he wasn't a thug
Washington - had a cup of tea in the NBA
Wilson - One of the best college shooting guards around, 2" too short for any chance at NBA

Most of our guys right now are all hype right not. Let's let them actually show us something on the court before we start saying this is the best talent we've ever had. Hopefully, they'll prove you right.
