If Forbes would have ranked the cities back in the 80's when we lived in the "rat house", Starkville would have won hands down.

I don't see it. I mean, there are a lot of wine heads there. But, it in no way compares with the all out alcohol free for all that is life in Wisconsin. Never been to RI -- so, I have no opinion on that one. Chicago -- I can see it.

Hell, what about Vegas??

You drank a lot in college?

I propose a new rule, something along the lines of: "What's that, you drank a lot in college? No ****, a lot of people drank a lot in college, so unless it's a particular story, then we don't need to hear how great of a drinker you were."

We definitely are a party town. We get painted as a college party place but the 30-50 age group does their fair share as well.

I have problems with SF being on that list over a city like New Orleans or Boston or New York, etc etc. I've been to SF several times and it's just a bunch of wine sippers. Hell, I had a hard time finding domestic beer.

I don't see how New Orleans didn't make the top 5. I've never been to a city where drinking is more a part of peoples lives.
