in the midst of the meltdown, I thought I'd note that said sport started a few minutes ago, and according to the box score Ware and Cunningham are starting with Bochert, Lewis, and Thomas coming off the bench. I'm not too surprised about Ware over Lewis, but does anyone know what's up with the others?

Edit: I guess Johnson over Bochert makes sense given the strong performance in Hawaii, so that just leaves the question of what Thomas did.

Through 29 minutes of play we have only given up 30 points.

Offensively we haven't done the best but we are playing well enough to win this one. Ware had 10 rebounds, Sword is leading the team with 12 points and Roquez has 11. Still have to cut down on the turnovers, which is the biggest problem for this team.

Of course they've forgotten. We won handily. If they can't *****, why would they post about basketball?

I suspect Borchert didn't start because of whatever he did that got him suspened. No idea why Cunningam started over Thomas other than Thomas is a true FR and Ray's not ready to start him yet. Doesn't really matter. We gave 6 players, including Thomas, between 26 and 34 minutes tonight. Not much difference between getting 28 minutes as a starter and 26 as the first guy off the bench. When we get Steele back, we'll be able to start a halfway decent lineup. It's going to be a long season, but not as bad as many are making it out to be. The gaping hole in the lineup is at PG, where 2 season ending injuries before the season even started is killing us.

Ray's Diapers out rebounded Alcorn 48-15 and forced them into a horrid 28% shooting for the game. Johnson and Ware can get boards. I doubt Johnson is dramatically better than he was last year so I wonder how last years team would of faired with Sidney kicked off the team and Johnson playing those minutes instead?
