Probably that he at least wanted to see our campus before committing to UGA this weekend on his official visit.

If the best passer in Georgia state history is interested in your program, you would be a fool to not entertain him, or at least the idea of him possibly coming to your school. I think he would come here if the Newton stuff breaks down.

Neither Scout nor Rivals even list UT as a school of interest. All signs point to UGA for Mason.

Its probably gonna be down to UGA and us. Last year, Georgia signed 2 top 14 QB's, so his chances of at least getting some playing time may be better here. If things play out like they are supposed to, which they never do, Russell sits for 2 years while Newton plays. Russell comes in a junior, while Mason is a redshirt sophomore. Russell graduates, and Mason plays his senior year. I doubt Mason would ever play at Georgia with 2 guys like that in front of him at UGA. Or if push comes to shove, he blows us both off and goes and starts at one of those lower tier schools that are interested.

that Cowbell9 is ALWAYS wrong. There is no need to get alarmed. He is wrong like 99.9% of the time. Nostradamus was right more than him.

Mullen was out of town on Monday or whenever he wanted to come earlier this week. Nice attemp to make something out of nothing by assuming something may be up with the other QB recruit. The kid threw for 4,000 yds and completed 70% of his passes. Nothing wrong with signing two QB's. Thought his other offers were Central Michigan, FSU, northwestern, uga and some other small school. Never heard anything about UT.

Even without Newton, I've got to think Russell and Relf (Jr. year) will be much better than Lee and Relf (So. year). Since it appears that Mullen's offense is going to be very QB-focused, that could be vital for improvement. We handled playing on the road pretty well this year (3-2, though we went 1-2 against decent teams on the road). Maybe it's just my need to have hope, but I'll be very dissappointed with less than 6 wins next year.

Edited to add: I don't know why this isn't showing up as a reply to jackstefano.
