Whenever I was at Rosey Baby watching an away game and Winsome Frazier got hot. The guy could empty a keg in ten minutes. For those that don't know... you used to get a free beer for every 3pt shot made by MSU if you were watching the game at Rosey Baby. Think the same went for touchdowns during football season.... so you pretty much had to buy every beer.

The best Valentine's Day I have had(had to) participate in was 2004 when we had an away game. It was a Saturday night game at Arkansas. Went to Hotel Chester for dinner, had a great steak, then we met a huge group at Rosy Baby's for the game. MSU had probably 10 3ptrs(Frazier was nailin em), we got a bunch of pitchers because of that, and we won by a handful at Bud Walton.

Great times.

1985 against Alabama. There had been an ice storm and classes were out from Wed-Friday. They decided to play the game Saturday and offered free admission. Anyway, I had a horrible cold and fever. My girlfriend and I walked from Arbour acres to the Hump slipping and sliding through the ice.

Anyway, the crowd was rowdy and looking for a fight. Since it was free admission, the students were closer to the court than usual, plus we were all on the front row. I was suffering from my fever....until some Alabama player jostled Ken Harvey. Harvey then proceeded to knock the living **** out of him. You could hear the smack loud and clear.

That smack broke my fever, and the crowd was out of control for the rest of the night. BTW, State won.

Was there as well. That was the craziest atmosphere because the school didn't close for the ice storm, but nobody went to classes anyway. I compare it to Caddies day at the pool on Caddyshack. We were sitting right behind one of the goals and my buddy dropped a full bottle of scotch as he got up to go to the bathroom. What made it classic was we were shooting free throws and the ref had just handed the ball to our player when you heard the crash so it was quiet. The whole place looked our way. Nobody did anything because they really didn't have control of the Hump with security due to the free admittance. Great night and didn't matter because we had 2 more fifth of liquor in our coats.
