Since our last trip to the Swamp in 2010

We have played 9 road games against SEC teams that were not in the conference in 2010.

We have played four road games in Conference USA stadiums.

We have played three road games in Sun Belt Stadiums.

We have played two different road games in the state of Arizona.

We have played a game in Massachusetts, Utah, and Kansas.

All of these things we have done since we’ve played one road game against fellow SEC charter member the University of Florida.

And Miss State has played Alabama more than any other team in history. I think Tenn might tie us this season.

Same. Watching the Red River Showdown as an SEC game made no sense Saturday. It was strange.

That's pretty wild. This is one of the reasons I like the new format. Starting next year we will play them and everyone else on the road at least every 4 years.

We can thank LT for 17'ing up the schedule rotation for the whole damned SEC after we finally get him out of the Bryan Building.

1992 till 2000ish was the ideal schedule scenario for MSU to have some success because of playing all the teams in the Western Division plus Kentucky & South Carolina. We had a legitimate chance to beat UK, USCE, UPIG, & Ole Miss every year plus some years Vandy would rotate onto the schedule. It also helped that both Alabama & Auburn went into self imposed HELL for a few years also.

I want us to do a Year of Jubilee and all the conference alignments get set back to what they were in 1990, when FSU and Penn State were independent and the Southwest Conference, Big 8, and Pac-10 were as God intended.
