since rumor is encouraged, a theory on Deon Mix going to Auburn...

This rumor was provided by an older MSU couple who sit in the same section at football games as me and my wife who've become our friends. They've heard from a few inside sources that Mix was given "incentives" by TSUN boosters to not sign with MSU. Since Freeze & Malzahn are very good friends and TSUN knew they would get Tunsil, they wanted their Batesville pipeline to either be Freeze or Malzahn and not Mullen. They said Mix was given "incentives" to purposely display a UCLA jersey during an in-home visit by MSU coaches who in turn got pissed at Mix and his family but all along this was orchestrated by TSUN boosters at the last minute.

Its probably all ******** and at first I laughed thinking this was a Rosebowl/Gene type theory created out of bitterness but I have to wonder if Freeze would rather split players with his friend Malzahn versus his enemy Mullen?

Fat, ugly and stupid is no way to go thru life. Mix is all three. Let him go to

Auburn. Jones absolutley abused his *** in the MS/AL practices. Even stated something to the effect that "This is too easy. Y'all need to get some help over here".

who cares mix is terrible

Apparently not only terrible but apparently not real bright either if he actually wore another school's jersey during MSU's planned visit. I don't excuse the behavior of our coaches but you do have to wonder what is going on in a prospects head that sticks another school up in the face of the school he's committed to. Like I said either he is extremely stupid or there actually was an ulterior motive to it all. I could almost believe any theory when it has to do with a prospect from South Panola especially while Pogue is there. Regardless though, I will be surprised if Mix ever amounts to much at Auburn.

Man am I glad our coaches didn't waste any time offering him a scholarship, taking his commitment, and wanting him to play here.

I would have been good to sign him as most MSU fans but let's just say that, per recent history, our coaching staff's eye for OL talent is questionable at best.

Well, remember that Hevesy's best recruit to pan out has been Dillon Day, a guy

that we offered as an emergency, at the last second. A guy that everyone on the board absolutely loved after viewing his tape. Many on the board think that Hevesy is one of the big problems with the Oline recruiting and offensive struggles. I wouldn't want to play for a huge dickhead either. Are our tackles EVER going to be average for a SEC team again?

Hold on, I guess you could argue Gabe Jackson was Hevesy's best prospect, but he was a Croom recruit that we held onto.

I'm just saying he's so terrible two SEC programs offered him a scholarship to play football. He must be awful.

Why would he be trying to catch you? He isn't a DE.

All making fun of your idiotic *** aside, Robinson will be a Jr. this year. Give the guy a chance to grow up. That is why our fans are terrible.

Course, I woudn't have said all of that if we'd signed him but the way he went

about it stinks to high heaven and that's my beef with Mix. I think he's only an average prospect but opening a door at USP would've been the biggest coup of getting his signature.

What about Joey Trapp? We had to go all the way to California to get him. Wonder if Lawson, Knox, and Muniz will ever contribute for us?

Look,

I understand that posting of rumours is encouraged here, but come on. To say this is stupid, wouldn't be doing it justice. Leave this stuff for jean's page.

Not until we give them a chance. They will all be Jrs. in 2013. WTF do you people want?

What about Siddoway? He started from day one.

SPS has a longstanding tradition of allowing people to post whatever the hell rumors they want. Here's the best part of the rule.

Be aware that being wrong opens you up for endless ridicule.

True,

but it used to be where pepole would refrain from posting garbage, that was known to be garbage. The "ridicule" part played into that. Now, not so much. I guess this boards popularity has become it's own biggest enemy, so to say.
