I vote for Mad Cow, in keeping with our ag image. As another alternative, I personally like Rabid Dawg. The "Wild <Mascot>" is boring and generic. Let's do something completely different.

Call it what it is, wildcat, like every other team, besides a Nutt coached team, does. If we are going to act like we invented something, why not call the spread - the Mullen and act like he created that.

edit to add that I may have jumped to conclusions and thought you were talking about the wildcat, just like to call them what they are wildcat and spread.

I think it's a little silly to name one formation after the school mascot. OK, when Arkansas did it, and no one else was, it was unique, and I was fine with that. But now other schools have started using it, and now you have the Wild Rebel, the Wild Dolphin, and so on. Just call it the Wildcat formation.

It would be like MSU lining up in the I-formation and saying that we are in the I-dog, and then LSU lining up in the I calls it the I- of the Tiger. It can ridiculous pretty quick.
