Former University of Tennessee basketball guard Ramar Smith is accused of taking money, guns and marijuana in a home invasion and robbery, according to court records.

Knox County Jail Officer Betty Shelton told The Associated Press that the 22-year-old Smith turned himself in early Thursday on a charge of aggravated robbery. He was later released on $15,000 bond.

According to court records obtained by The Knoxville News Sentinel, the victim told police Smith was at his apartment to buy marijuana.

The victim told police while he was talking with Smith, another person entered the apartment with a gun. Records accuse the pair of taking $6,000 in cash and a half pound of marijuana.

is, what did the drug dealer "victim" expect to gain from calling the cops? Did he think they would arrest Smith, find the 6 grand and half pound of wacky tobacky and return it to him?

It does not say (in what was pasted in this thread) that he called the cops. It says he told the cops.

My guess is. He told the cops in an interview after being hauled in on some other related charged. He got pissed about his situation and wanted the guys who ripped him to get busted as well.

The buyer comes in to get some weed, instead he steals all of the sellers money, weed, and guns. The buyer is pissed and without thinking calls 911 and says I just got robbed in my home. The police arrive and start investigating. How did he gain entry? Why aren't there any broken windows, doors, etc? Why don't you have any marks of self defense on you? How do you know his name? etc etc etc Eventually the story doesn't add up and the police say this is bs, did he come here to buy drugs etc. uh uh uh Ok I'm going to be honest with you. I was going to hook him up with one of my partners to meet over here but then he took all my ****. Believe it or not, this scenario happens pretty often, however, normally its I just got robbed at gunpoint on the corner of the street, but the guy was tryin to buy dope, dealer took his money and gave him fake drugs or nothing at all.
