If Alabama keeps "doing their thing"... in your opinion, who are their legit threats outside the SEC...?

I believe Bama would blast
2 Oregon, 7 WVU, and 8 KSU...

4 FSU would be my pick (lots of speed on D) although I believe EJ would melt by mid 2nd qtr....

Bama has no legitimate competition either inside or outside the SEC ....

Hopefully we can catch you guys off guard.

Would not mind seeing that Oregon deal.

Might not be as easy as you think. Auburn did not exactly gash them last time, you know, when they won the title.

true, but AU was a one trick mule... Oregon's Defense would be completely gassed and/or injured late in the 3rd period... Heck, LSU had one of the 2 best D's last year and they were worn out in NOLA...

that being said, I'd love to see it as well, Karl...

You have a great D, but don't have the O that Auburn had that year.

But ****, ya'll haven't run the SEC gauntlet yet. Until you do that, I'm not ready to anoit Bama as the supreme being of NCAA football.

I still think it would be a good game.

I still think it's too early to give FSU too much credit. So far, they've only played at home. They dominated 3 very weak teams. Their other win, against Clemson, really wasn't that impressive (49-37). If FSU is really a title contender, you'd think they would've handled Clemson a little easier at home.

I'd go Oregon, Texas, then FSU, however, I feel Oregon is definitely above FSU and Texas at this point. Oregon crushed Arizona last week the way FSU should've been able to crush Clemson.

FSU would also be my pick, they are very athletic, but I don't expect Bama to lose a game this season.

who could they (2nd team) beat in conference, Shmuley?

barring injury, I think they maybe could beat 8-10 SEC teams. No chance they whack SC, LSU, UGA or Bama's 1st teams.

fair enough, there was a lot of smack talk by Bammers in 2010... and they managed to choke away/run into buzzsaws on 3 occassions...sp

FSU hasn't been tested by a top team, that is true, but they have a lot of talent and could improve a lot between now and bowl time.

Oregon would be the top pick. I am not really sure about Texas. We will find out about them tonight against OSU.

Florida State can play with Alabama.......

That's probably all I would say right now. I'd have to see more of the season. I'm not going to say Alabama is invincible, because it's not true.

No one is going to beat Alabama. I hope State can give them a good game. I would be much more comfortable if the game was at State. Alabama should wrap up it's sedond National Championship in a row and carry the SEC to 7 straight national championships. I can not lie.

I thought the same thing in 201o...

when Alabama was arguably the best team in the country...

you can run into a buzzsaw and/or have a few too many turnovers... and "bam", there goes 3 to 4 straight BCSNCs down the tubes...

seasons are fragile...
