I think the bigger news is there is no longer a transfer windows aftercare coach leaves. There is a new window forc15 days after a new coach is hired. So, players have to wait and see who the new coach is before they can jump ship.
Or, I guess, officially jump ship. Somehow they will all have offers in hand the dayva new coach is hired.
That can't be true because that would be tampering which is illegal, and we all know that no school's coaches or boosters would do anything illegal.

I think this will help the product on the field a good bit. Could help or hurt us in particular. Basically forces players to assess where they are after the season, and not see where they are after spring training. Not sure whether we've been a net winner or loser out of players transferring because they realize they're the odd man out. I would assume it's a slight gain for us to be able to go after players unhappy with their spot on the depth chart after spring. Excluding tampering, presumably we are only losing depth players after spring training. Be nice to not have to continue recruiting players already on campus through the spring and summer I guess. How about that
I suspect it's year round.Do programs start the poaching process in November?? Would be pretty bad if someone buys your starting corner and RB on January 15th.
