Coach Singletary needs to realize that Dixon is a good RB. How is Dixon is 3rd string (fighting for) when he ran all over SEC DEFENSES last year? It's not like he put up gaudy numbers against nobody's. Seeing CJ Spiller get all this praise and Dixon getting none pisses me off. If he just gets the ball, he could put up big numbers this year. I hope he gets the number of carries (and money) while he can, cause we know what the average lifetime of a running back is in the NFL.

they will give the incumbent(s) the benefit of the doubt. There is no doubt in my mind he's going to be a sensational NFL back though. Plus he got experience in a pro offense on the college level while Crooms was here. He is going to be a beast as the season wears on and he gets more comfortable with the X's and O's.

Gore cannot seem to stay healthy and I think time will show that Dixon is going to be better than Westbrook this season. Some of the things Dixon did in that preseason game last week just can't be done by an average running back.

I just don't want to see Dixon played likeNorwood has been with4 or 5 carrieswhile the starter runs it 30 times a game. I think a tandem attack of Dixon and Gore would punish NFL run defenses.

He pretty much summed it up in an article, Dixon is struggling with pass protection. Hesaid if Dixon is in th egame, its a 95% chance its a run
