I feel we're (Ole Miss) in great position to land both. Brassell originally committed to MSU to get the reporters off his back, smart move. He said OM wanted him to play offense or defense, whereas MSU is just offense. Relf is y'alls QB, but both recruits have to question the QB depth. What if Relf goes down? Favre? Now that we have a QB battle brewing in Oxford and close to landing Barry Brunetti, Memphis native, I think all our offense needs is weapons like a Brassell or a Singleton. We have a physical Donte Moncrief, probably a week 1 starter. That said, anyone willing to place a little bet on this duo? We can do paypal.

You're a moron. A QB battle brewing? You have Stanley, who got SHAFTED for the starting position, Mackey, who is another Tyson Lee in the works, and a 2-star JUCO QB. Nice try.

Give me Relf, and if Relf gets hurt, give me Russell, who WR's probably prefer. If Russell gets hurt or sucks, give me Prescott, who some are expecting to start next season anyway.

Now, GTFO.

your post makes as much sense as this whole situation. If you are expecting brunetti to solve your problems, you are in for a big letdown. Everyone in the state figured brassell to oxford, so he commits to MSU to "to get the reporters off his back". I don't understand that at all. Maybe this is all blackbear ******** and more of their delusional thoughts.

Yeah, a battle ofunproven and unknowns........State on the other hand has some serviceable depth so to any receiver looking around, State is much more attractive from that perspective than Ole Miss..........

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Brassell and Singleton, but if they end up at Ole Miss... I don't think we lose any more games than we would. I don't foresee either two to beat out Carr, Clark, or Smith for their spots. Morrow has the best shot at the most playing time because of his height. He's an redzone threat.

Your offense needs a lot of everything. Of course Hootie will find a miracle Juco transfer so good you'll surely make it to Atlanta, East Bound and Down, get your reservations now, Hotty Toddy, Go Rebs... Er Bears.

I'll give you one thing y'all never lose an offseason!

As for the bet you want to parlay in the fact y'all will get whipped again in Starkville this year? I take cash.

No, you don't have a 17ing clue. <div>
</div><div>We have Zack Stoudt, Nate Stanley, Randall Mackey (#1 JuCo QB), and close to getting Brunnetti. That's FOUR QB's that have potential and credentials.</div><div>
</div><div>What??? Russell can't read a SEC defense for ****. Have fun with that. Anyways, I thought he was at EMCC?</div>

Yea, that's all your offense needs...how about pick one? Spread? Pro? Midget QB or tall one? One that stutters or one that can call the plays? With the Raht Rev and Dave Rader planning their eenie meenie miney mo offensive gameplan, you've got the rest of the SEC scared shitless.
