criticism from ole miss fans about recruiting ms early on and this issue plus grade issues is part of his circumspection. i won't argue with rougedawg the methods of recruiting and the straight shooting, i am pretty well informed about the ole miss programs and can tell you that nutt does not promise the kids any starting positions etc. if being a better salesman and making momma like you in the living room is called kissing their asses then i'm all for it.

i do think nutt has this yr been tougher on micreants than he has in the past. may have to be tougher. and i can tell you that the other night the coaches offered to help TS pack if he wanted to go. personally i wouldn't want to have to ride heard on these kids nowadays. wobble davidson would have literally killed some of them and buried them out back.

Yes we dont know what our offense is going to be....we just got 2 new offensive coaches...how could we know. But hiring Brewer and letting lee call the plays is a step in the right direction.

and if you look at those questions, and realize the answers, objectively, then it's difficult to see how a WR would pick A over B.State or Ole Miss or LSU or Bama or USM or UT or UK or who the hell ever the answers were attributed to.

You know, there is no rule that says you have to write a 2,000 word response.

I think the NCAA should have a rule that if a Coach fails to follow through a promise, that guy shouldhave the rightto transfer immediately and play that season.

And if you ask a different set of questions, the answer would probably change. Hell, even with those questions, it can be twisted a different direction.

That's the point. Nothing is so simple. We've had two very successful WRs in the past couple years with Hodge and Wallace. If you throw in McCluster for the scat back type receivers, it's not hard to sell that Nutt will figure out a way to get you the ball and make you NFL ready. Hell, in Nutt's first year at Ole Miss, we had 3 of the Top 10 receivers in the SEC.

It's all in how you package it and sell it. If you're a 17 or 18 year old, you probably haven't spent a lot of time listening to whack jobs from Arkansas, so you probably don't have a skewed opinion of Houston Nutt yet, and you more than likely go with what you see coupled with the sales pitch. It's just amazing to me that people still have a hard time understanding that not every recruiting decision is going to make sense based on your own personal reasoning or point of view.

and you wonder why your fan base is referred to as delusional... You don't have a damn clue what any of them will do in a SEC game and you are calling them really good. Absurd

apparently came close to leaving. the problem is simple. after being top dog in high school he finds himself at the bottom of the rotation of recievers at ole miss (that by the way is very good news for us. not so much for others). as was noted on SPS (after he committed to ole miss of course) the kid has an ego and attitude problem. 5* or not he's about the 4th or 5th best we've got right now and he doesn't get it. maybe he will or maybe he won't but if he does leave nobody at ole miss is going to cry a river. kid needs to get to work and get his act together.

I'm just putting "Chapter x" in front of each response. I'd greatly appreciate you putting "The End" when you're done though. Ok, thanks!
