Sister picking tickets Wednesday. She's clueless - what's left?

Unless there's someone around that also hasn't picked yet, they shut down the stadium view as soon as you select your seats so I can no longer long on to see what's left. That said, I'd imagine that there are probably a few small pockets of seats lefts in Sec 2 and 6 while 3-5 are most likely gone with the exception of maybe a couple singles. I don't know whether sitting down low or being near the 50-yd-line is more important to her, but based on what others have said, she may really want to think about trying to find some decent midfield seats in the West side upper deck. It's a good view, it's cheaper, and otherwise, she may be relegated to one of the far corners on the lower level.

I highly recommend the first 2 rows of west side chairbacks in Sections 306-308

Best view in the stadium, in my opinion. With the walking concourse that runs the length of the stadium being
behind Row 2, the access in/out of the seats in the first 2 rows is great as well. Also, with multiple elevators now
serving the west upper deck, there is no need to walk up the ramps anymore.

I've already picked my seats and can't view the site either.... but I would be interested in seeing what is still available.
Folks in the 2000's should be picking this week.

I don't have time to post pictures but as of 9am this morning...

Lower West side
Section 4 (midfield west side) is 100% full.
Section 3 and 5 are both probably about 70% full.
Section 2 and 6 are only about 10% full except that the lower third of 2 is completely reserved.

Lower East side
Section 20 is only about 30-40% full.
Section 19 is practially empty.
Section 18 is completely empty.

I didn't look at the upper west side because my wife would never consider it (she can't stand being up that high). I pick Thursday and am thinking hard about the east side section 20 if it's still available. It's either that or section 2 or 6 on the west. Same price but section 20 is around the 40 yard line versus inside the 10 for 2 & 6.

You could also still grab a few in the north endzone or very ends of clublevel on the east.

Out of curiosity, what BC rank are you? Just trying to get an idea as to how many people still haven't selected yet... Something about the fact that there are still that many seats left in the prime lower level sections does not sound good me, but maybe there are still a lot more people left to choose.

level ~2100. got lower section 3 almost same as what I originally had. With over 10000 BD club members, still lots of people left to pick and not that many "good" seats left.

I picked this morning at 9:20, BC rank about 2200...

any west side decent?
I got in section 5 row 50, seats 48-50. All of the seats are gone toward the inside of sections 3 and 5. The seats left are toward the outside of the section and are all up and down that side of sections. Section 4 gone. On the east side there are a lot of good seats if you don't mind the sun. We chose to get as close to under the overhang on the west side and close to aisle as possible.

~3400

FWIW, I started ordering tickets 5 years ago and was ranked around 5500 - got tickets in lower portion of section 6. I've moved up over 2000 spots and doesn't appear I can do any better than the section I was already in. I guess that's a little surprising to me.

I just picked. 5 had some along the right side. 6 was pretty much wide open except on the left side agaisnt the aisle. I think 5 people had picked in 7. 1 and 2 were pretty wide open as well.

Well the faculty/staff got to keep all their 50 yd line tickets so they could sell to visiting teams. I'm surprised that many that have had to take worse seats haven't complained about that. I'm not against letting the staff have discounts, but 50 yd line when people giving good money could get those seats?

Glad you brought that up. I'm typically not one to judge people for what they do with their tickets, but the faculty/staff situation is ridiculous. Once football season rolls around, pull up one of our home games on Stubhub and take a look at where the most tickets are being sold. The most dense section my a wide margin is the faculty/staff area. Like you, my issue is not that they're selling their tickets, but if they're going to do that... stop giving them prime seats in the lower level.

It's insane to have that program in place and then when you look on Stubhub in about 4 months, you'll see a ton of people selling their entire season ticket packages. At least that way, though, I guess you can pretty much rest assured that an MSU fan is buying them though

I agree about the faculty/staff seats. I know faculty that buy them every year just to sell. I've told them how I feel about that. They care nothing for football and see it as a free market. I've refused to purchase tickets from them simply based on principal.
