Ive got an old bottle of Rip Van Winkle that I'm wanting to sell. Does anybody know a good site to post it on? I sell stuff on eBay all the time, but obviously I can't sell alcohol on there. If anybody has any suggestions, they'll be greatly appreciated!

I sold a lot of Makers Mark bottles on Craigslist pretty quickly... you should have no problem selling it on there.

Some of the ones who bought off me asked me about Rip Van Winkle bottles. I have no clue what they go for but I'm sure you can get what youre asking for it. Just dont let anyone try to talk you into paying with a cashiers check. Had someone try that with me, freaking scammers.

I posted it on the Lexington website. Will probably post on a few more just in case. It's a pretty expensive bottle according to my brother in law. I'm actually helping him sell it. He said one just like it went for $4k on dustybid.com. Don't know if I'll be able to get close to that much, but its worth a shot. Thanks for the help

you're welcome! I tried other ways to sell them and found out the craigslist way was better for me in my situation. The buyer and I just agreed to meet in Lexington at a public place like Meijer. Really didnt have any problems except the one person who tried to scam me giving me a sob story. Flat out told them sorry no checks, cash only.

Good Luck!

I've got a bottle of Maker's Mark 1996 Kentucky Wildcats Champions. Any idea what it might be worth?

I've got a Rich Brooks Makers bottle that has been sitting in the top of my closet since I bought it. I need to find someone that wants the damned thing.

Search for Bourbon Secondary Market on Facebook. It's a closed group, so you'll have to ask to join but lots of selling and trading happening there.
