He meant to much to so many. My first memories of Mississippi State football is of listening to this man's voice while my grandfather and I piddled around in his garage. Jack is Mississippi State football to me.

My mom told me my step-dad (MSU alum) was visibly sad when he heard of Jack's passing a few days ago. Jack was a legend that all fans, no matter what allegiance you may have, could enjoy listening to.

That's awesome. I wore a MSU polo on Monday and was approached by several people who brought up his passing. Strangely enough one was tyrell grindle and he talked about how big of fan he was of him and that how he affected so many peoples lives just by hearing him on a radio.
