A few days ago I posted an e-mail asking everyone / anyone to send me a pledge to show that the fan base is serious about buying out Croom's Contract.

If we had of generated some momentum, I was planning on forwarding it to G.Byrne.

Of course I knew it was a long shot, but **** not one not one sumbitch replied.

So I guess Rusty Hampton was right. MSU'ers are content bitching and blogging about our problems, but nobody is really going to do anything about it.

Until 2010, I'm going deer hunting with the rest of the gang and pulling for the Titans and Falcons.

Oh and Porkchop, don't call me out in public about not knowing my legalese if you aren't going to lend a hand. I asked for some help. If you are going to criticize me, then at least roll up your sleeves and help a man when he sticks his hand out asking for help getting up.

If the time comes to pony up I will give directly to the athletic department. I'm not about to send my contact info and the $$$ amount I'm willing to pledge to some random guy on the internet. Did you really expect anyone to respond to you?

Just because we didn't give to you, doesn't mean we haven't (or won't) contribute to a buyout.</p>

I spoke with my financial advisor and said I wanted to send a few grand to some douche bag on the internet, that I have never met, named Pot Liquor. After he thought about it for less than 1/2 of a second, he told me that I was batshit crazy. Are you really expecting a bunch of guys to send you money. How bout when they do the right thing and fire crooms dumb ***, I will send my check directly to the athletic department. If I was you, and thank the good Lord I am not, I would put down the pot liquor you are drinking and whatever it is you are smoking because you sound like an idiot.

I didn't ask anyone to send money. I didn't even ask folks to send me their REAL contact info....yet.

What I thought I was doing was setting up a quick & free e-mail account, asking anyone that was curious to pledge some money so we might pool our financial resources ( IE - I Pot Liquor pledge $500 to buy out Croom ), and then send me a note at the listed e-mail address. I didn't think it was appropriate to jam up our beloved sports board.

Like you I wouldn't send some random douche any money either, but if enough of you 17'ers had of sent me a note, (dawgstudent aside) I was planning on reporting back to everyone how much $$$$ had been pledged.

If it had of been a substancial amount, then our trusted leader dawgstudent could of taken the reigns.

I know that many of you just get on here for a few yuks or to start a rumor, etc, etc....I do it myself.

But now I plan on sitting back, like you, and watching our program disintegrate.....screw trying to come up with an idea that might help.

And to everyone that thinks I'm some kind of dope-head, Pot Liquor is the juice left in the pot after cooking down ham hocks, greens, & turnips. It won't get you high, but it will grow hair on your tiny little city boy nads.

Put that in your microwave and smoke it!
