Skelton

[DAWG61]

Has there been another player make a bigger jump in play in just one year than this guy? Dude couldn't even catch the ball last year. He had double digit drops/passed balls vs Vandy. Now he's hitting 3 rbi triples and been really solid behind the plate. I wasn't a Dustin Skelton fan in the preseason I'm a gigantic Dustin Skelton fan now!

Man, what a dumb 17ing call from the Stanford coach. Trying to steal 3rd, with two outs, down 4, on a catcher that is hard as hell to even steal 2nd on and already made a ridiculous hose down that same inning. I’ll take it though.

Skelton made that inning his *****

[Uncle Ruckus]

Rooker and Renfroe made some huge jumps
Honestly, Small did too. He was good last year. He is phenomenal this year. I didn’t expect this type of season at all from him

Skelton improved everything about his game this year. After the Vandy SR last year, I thought he would probably need to move to DH this year to put a stronger arm behind the plate, but he must have worked his butt off, because he has been a force on defense and offense. He is a strong leader on this team full of leaders.

It was so dumb that I doubt the coach asked for it. Kid probably thought he caught the defense napping. Whoops.
