..is unaware Sly Croom, who last coached @ MSU 3 years ago, managed to 17 up the MSU football program until the year 2050.
Waaaay to early to predict us for even a bowl at this point. I could name at least 3 HS school teams in AL and MS that could beat Memphis. I'm honestly disappointed we gave up 300 yds and 14pts to them (even with backups playing). The 1st time we got a fumble deep in Memphis' territory should've been a TD not a FG.
But there were alot of positives too. I loved how Ballard was unstoppable on those long runs. Last year he was chased down, now its a TD (atleast against Memph).
We have to be better if we want to beat LSU, Ark and Bama.

37 min 20 sec to be exact. They had no choice but to pile up some yards. We were also missing some key components of our defense.... and also cleared the benches pretty early on defense.
Although it is pretty annoying, I'm actually pleased with some of the bitching going on. It just shows where our program is now and is going. Always looking to get better.... definitely not the MSU blue-hair's mentality of "Win or lose, I'm just pleased MSU gets to field a team"

The first touchdown was because we did that FUBAR fake punt and Memphis got the ball almost in the red zone already. The second touchdown was against 2nd and 3rd teamers after a fumbled punt return on around the Memphis 40 yard line.
Also, not picking on you, but did you see Ballard play last year? That was his fifth 3 touchdown game. He rarely gets caught by anyone. You may be thinking of Perkins in a couple of games last season.
