If he knew (or should have known) that Wake gameplan was shared with UL.

Of course, we know that the only thing that gets one fired at UL is losing and literally anything else is OK.

Nevertheless, it will be funny to once again have the media bash UL only to see them climb in their bunker with their hands over their ears...

Scandal U is about ready to have another one...

So the University now has 2 programs embroiled in scandal along with the soon to be announced audit of their funding. Sounds like they need to clean house and start from scratch at Little Brother U. But of course neither Head Coach knew about their scandal.

What a novel idea. Oh wait. Didn't Arkansas fire Petrino?

They are edging toward being gutted by the state legislature, if this stuff is true. Just figuratively burn off the place and start over organizationally, perhaps even as an appendage of UK, athletics all but eliminated.

They seem to think outside forces will always rescue them in some way, but at the end of the day, state government might reset the whole mess, even if not in the manner Bevin has attempted.

Problem is, entanglements like the Yum! Center arrangement create pressure to maintain the status quo. Jurich is too shrewd.

Hard decisions and problems to solve if you go nuclear option with U of L. In all seriousness, though, if this plays out, the place has really just become a complete disgrace for the Commonwealth.

Agreed, but they won't. If Pitino can't be fired after two major scandals on his watch, then nothing short of murder will get anyone fired over there.

Agreed. The only thing that I think will get them will be this audit report coming out now, if they misappropriated funds and possibly lose the school's accrediation (which is currently on probation because of Bevin).

When Jurich found out about the cheating, he probably ordered UL's lawyers to draw up a contract extension for Honest Bob.

The correct word to define Jurich, is not shrewd, but crooked, and win at all costs, regardless of morals. If Hitler was alive, and could coach, he would be UofL's coach if Jurich was the AD. The whole bunch, from the President, to everyone below him were crooks.

I mean we all rail against RP and Bobby but the guy who hired and hires them is always one step above the fray. Top 5 AD, best in business, upgrades in facilities, move to ACC etc..
I mean the man has to be morally corrupt to flat turn a blind eye to all of this. I would give him props for winning and hiring coaches. I would say he is a failure in ethics and standards. I mean what a POS this guy must be to not have any integrity, he has had coaches who left, one went to Mary. asst. coaches who left and had scandals. He doesn't care. That is scary when you put in charge a man that has no integrity or morals. He is a morally corrupt man and school.

Why do people like Crawford and Bozich write glowing remarks about him and the art of the deal with the Yum center, stuff like that. No one will write against him or question. It is a damn shame that he gets a free pass. I mean that school is as big a cesspool as any.
IMO

Because they are scared to death of him . I would LOVE to see what Jerry Tipton would be writing if he worked for the CJ . He could possibly be found floating in the Ohio river .

They just need to clean the house, but they won't. It would be so nice to have two schools go at it without any scandals(cough Louisville cough). UofL has become nothing but a disgrace for the Commonwealth.

I will say this if there is proof that UofL actually had possession of the game plan and Petrino knew then yes send him packing. However right now no one has show proof that one Louisville actually had the plans in their hands or even agreed to accept the plans.

I would like someone in the media to do an open records request for the emails and text so we can see what they say and how many other schools the guy have plans to or tried to give plans too.

Of course cal should be tarred and feathered and held accountable for camby getting perks from an agent for one season which when cal found out turned him in.......BUT perfectly fine for pitino to not be aware of his underage recruits and current players on campus to receive preferential sex related benefits from an escort service in the players dorms that went on for over 4 years.....YES that is the logic of some of the tard fans!!!!!!

They simply all fear the wrath of jurich! remember when Lachlan read that poem on the air about the loserville football player that jurich allowed them to take. He had him suspended, and nearly fired! Then Lachlan too called jurich his master as well!!

If you ever want to hear a good rant ask former GOP politico Larry Forgy about UofL and the states decision to take over the school from the city of Louisville. He goes straight to pissed off about how he told them to not do it.
