Trust but verify. Verification did not go very well last year. But hope and change spring eternal.
Hopefully changing the roster over will bring better results. Time will tell. I want to be hopeful. It is hard, very hard to trust in that with this staff.

I love the “got my brother’s back” approach!!! Great leadership. These guys give me hope in spite of the concerns I have regarding the coaching staff.
The only thing that will really accomplish that is for Payne and team to win a ton more games next season. Until then the skepticism and doubt will continue.
But I do like the players sticking up for one another. Hopefully it helps with team chemistry and cohesion.
Maybe fans are counting Davis out too soon. Every player deserves a chance once they are in the fold. I like the leadership Clark is showing out of the chute. Let's see if he can get some of these big guys some paint touches they couldn't get last year, etc.
This clown fanbase has gotten so toxic that Flowers Mom is going back at the know it all's herself about her son abilities. To think these players present and future are not paying attention to the ignorance is sad. Be careful what you wish for.
I am not advocating for any control over speech one way or another, but I question the judgment and motive for criticizing incoming players, particularly those arriving without any opportunity to demonstrate their performance.
