Cohen placed his sack emphatically on the table

Moving Lin to Sunday. Ace v ace, all or nothing style.

Except for the fact they moved him due to "complications" in his bullpen session Tuesday.

As long as Judas Cohen doesn't pitch Evan Mitchell to start then there is a glimmer of hope

Do you believe that though?

Seems like an odd coincidence to happen the day before facing our first opponent that has their true ace pitching Sunday.

I believe that we wouldn't want Pollorena to start on Friday, so yes, this is easy to believe.

H4H may have a point. Pollo vs Stanek is damn near a sure loss. Spinning it to the press this way is better than saying "I dont want Pollo matched up with their Ace"

Lindy could have had a problem in his session no doubt- but it wouldnt be surprising if this was spin also to get better match-ups

There is no need for spin. If we want Jacob vs Stanek we could just as easily say so. Arky isn't changing their rotation around for us I promise you.

Must be a new development, he's been the 1st/2nd guy all year except for the Ole Miss series, where they were all screwed up and threw Stanek AND Astin on Sunday. Not sure what was going on there.

They threw Stanek last Saturday- so maybe they got him back where they want him.

Well good grief, just what we need, another starting pitcher with "complications". Seems like we have enough of those already.

Just hopeful he can give me a better explanation, or, well you know.

I'm saying we probably won't beat Stanek regardless, so why waste Lindgren?

Think it's pretty obvious now that you all are mistaken. We're throwing Lindgren on Sunday to avoid Stanek and Astin and hopefully salvage that one win. Not to go ace to ace with Arkansas.

Smart move in my opinion. Maybe Graveman or Pollo will have the game of their lives.

Maybe Polk is the Jesus of MSU baseball, and Cohen is Judas for taking the MSU job when Polk asked him not to.

Stanek this year, isn't the Stanek of last year.

He's the reigning SEC pitcher of the week though lol.

Against Ole Miss we moved a freshman Trey Killian into the friday slot because he had been dominant in OOC play and stanek had been struggling with his control...but he got welcomed to the SEC and went back to the bullpen last weekend. Stanek and Fant have both been good lately though, and astin got the start last friday (he is usually one of our best bullpen guys) and did well so we're keeping it the same this weekend
