That was a hand-timed estimate -- as were all the other numbers they actually give you while they guys are running.

With the laser timing, Slay was fastest DB there.

They screwed up his official time. The NFL Simocast shows him beat Slay by a stride or so. Eison and Mayock said something must have gotten messed up in his official time.

I never understood why we didn't use him any for KOs and punts, even when he wasn't starting at DB in his JR year? Never really made much sense when we were using LDP there who takes enough hits as a RB.

That's awesome. Good for him. It's good for the entire program too.

Every team in the NFL that is semi interested in drafting a CB will have scouts at our proday now. You get twice as much bang for the buck. Who knows, maybe we'll they're on campus Josh Boyd catches their eye or Gabe Jackson for next year, etc.

I agree. Perkins seemed to slow down or stop when he was going to get hit on kick-offs.
