Right now, I'm guessing three.

Bumphis is likely one. There's always a few surprises. We had what, five last year?

but to me that reeks of a 2nd or 3rd failed drug test. I would think a legal issue would have made the papers as some beat reporters have nothing better to do than scan arrest records and I can't see skipping class garnering a half season suspension, but I do think I remember reading somewhere that failing a 2nd or 3rd drug test gets you plenty of time on the bench during the season.

If true, then I think that is absolutely stupid on the player's part. They know beyond a shadow of a doubt they test for whether or not you have been rolling a nice fat one and to do it after you have already been caught at least once is asinine.

MSU's policy is a suspension for 50% of the season for a 2nd failed test, a full season for a 3rd, and dismissal for a 4th. So yeah, I don't think there's much doubt this is a 2nd positive drug test for someone.

UM has substantially beefed up what was one of the most lenient policies in the SEC. Their new policy is suspension for 25% of remaining games for a 2nd offense and dismissal for a 3rd.
