Raycom game is finally in "actual" HD. Not a widescreen version of the ****** picture they always have.

I was just about to make a similar comment. It's nice that with only 4 more weeks to go in their final contract year they break out the hd. Asshats.

is because when I see highlights of the Raycom game on ESPN, they are in "real" HD. So I was assuming it was Memphis Comcast related, like they were still picking up the old signal or something.

Either way, it looks great for a change.

It is definitely a Memphis Comcast issue. Brianthedawg lives in Nashville and he has been getting raycom games in HD all season. I hate Comcast and I cannot wait until we buy another house so I can get Direct TV. This damn tree in our yard blocks the satelites unfortunately

How is it a Comcast issue? All they do is carry the signal. If the Memphis Raycom affiliate is not providing the HD signal then it's their fault. In Jackson, it was the same way the first couple of weeks of the season. WJTV was not broadcasting the HD feed.
