What is this 2016? I haven’t cared about signing day since the Pre-Covid days.
I’m not sure I would sign with NU if I were him. I might be inclined to go to a place where I thought I had a chance to play early.I’m sure it had nothing to do with who we already have at QB
Oh no, a QB that no one on here had ever heard of, that would have redshirted at Nebraska and probably been a career 3rd string QB, left Nebraska at the altar for James Madison the be the 3rd string QB there.

You also forgot to mention how NU ignored a homegrown QB who is good enough for Alabama because we had another Raiola coming in. You know, the same Raiola who is now going to Oregon to play tight end. Two lessons: 1. The Raiola Mafia has hurt this program and 2. Rhule is an effing moron.
Partially true. The homegrown QB was basically a mid 3 star QB with an Iowa St offer and a couple of programs that aren't considered to be high level football schools. Alabama didn't offer until May of 2025. It isn't like there were 30 P4 teams offering this kid during his junior year. Most of his offers came after January 2025 and the majority of the P4 offers came after the camps in the spring of his junior year.
If you were in Rhule's shoes and had the chance to sign Dylan you're telling us you wouldn't have? Knowing that it would take offering his brother,etc? I think the biggest problem is that Rhule gambled that Dylan was good enough to justify selling his soul to bag him, and it turned out that he isn't nearly good enough to carry a below average program to the promised land. Hard for me to agree that Rhule is a moron because he got bent over by the Raiolas. Maybe for other reasons.

Well then every P4 team in America will have mis-evaluated the next Lamar Jackson other than Nebraska.4th string. Knowing our luck he’ll turn in to the next Lamar Jackson.
..is anyone acting like the sky is falling over this? Perhaps i missed it but from where i sit it doesn't look like anyone cares, for all the reasons you listed.
This reads like Nebraska was in a bidding war with JMU and lost to me. If they offered the QB a dollar they would have outbid Nebraska.
