I would hold on the 2 seed in the west. If lincolnton beats Maiden Friday it would give them a 9-1 record I think.

Lincolnton is playing its best football right now and I aint sure if Maiden is as good as their record indicates. Just a gut feeling. I look for Lincolnton to make a deep solid run in the playoffs.

If Lincolnton is opposite Shelby the western final is Lincolnton vs Shelby. You are correct Scronce they are a complete team and I would rank them top 7 in the entire 2A 98 teams.

If Lincolnton wins, then they would draw with Mt Heritage for the 6 and 7 seed. 7 and 8 would move back to 8 and 9 and 10 would be Maiden. Oh yeah, if Graham loses, it throws this all out of wack!!!! And the Big South still has to figure their final standings out too. A lot of unknowns still at this point.

Maiden will be 2AA.

Yeah your right, my eyes must be crossing from looking at this too much. Then 7, 8, and 9 move to 8, 9, and 10. I think????

I really don't understand the tie breaking procedures when there are multiple teams with the same record. They use to go by conference winning percentage but I'm not sure if it's like that now. That is how I did it. Here's what I had. I had 53 teams that made based on their conference finish or overall record. There were 14 teams that all had 5-5 records trying to get the 11 last spots. I used conference winning % to break the tie. The 3 worst %'s were N Johnston @ 1-4 (.200), E Rutherford @ 2-6(.250), and Stuart Cramer @ 2-4(.333). If that is wrong, let me know so I can correct it.

If E. Rutherford beats Chase, they will finish 5-5 overall (after dropping a loss) and 3-5 in conference. Exact same as Draughn. They beat Draughn head to head so I figure they get in

2a west looks pretty weak with a bunch of average teams 5-5,6-4,hasn't been like that in a long time,if everything holds true

That will change with Lincolnton if they beat Maiden. Right now, I have Maiden 2nd and Lincolnton 3rd. They probably will move up to a 6 or a 7 seed with a win tomorrow night.

SWE has drawn the number 2 conference seed in case of a 3 way tie for first. If we lose Friday vs Beddingfield, then we are number 3. Either way, we don't have a shot at the first conference seed.

Graham and Bartlett Yancey both can't grab the 2 and 3 seeds from the Mid-State. Cummings, Graham, Bartlett Yancey and Jordan-Matthews are all tied at 2-2 in league play. Graham and BY play one another winner of that game, and the winner of the Cummings at Jordan-Matthews game, will be the Mid-State #2 and #3-seeds. The order depends upon he winners.

Ok so here goes nothing...
if BY beats Graham and Cummings beats JM, it's BY at 2 and Cummings at 3
if BY beats Graham and JM beats Cummings, it's JM at 2 and BY at 3
if Cummings beats JM and Graham beats BY, it's Cummings at 2 and Graham at 3
if JM beats Cummings and Graham beats BY, it's Graham at 2 and JM at 3

Sorry ebhsfan, but the Mid-State alone makes predicting any 2A east brackets a mess!

NCPreps shows Cummings at 1-3, with BY and JM at 2-2, Graham at 3-1, and Reidsville at 4-0. It shows Cummings losing to Reidsville, BY, and Graham. If that is wrong let me know.

BY is probably going to make the playoffs even if they lose to Graham, which is likely.

NCPREPS is wrong about Cummings losing to Graham.....on Oct. 30th Cummings beat Graham 17-4///So there are 4 teams behind Reidsville's 4-0 (now 5-0 with Carrboro forfeiting tonite's game)..those 4 teams J-M, Cummings, Graham, and B-Y are alll 2-2....after tonite all will be made clear...2 winners of those games will be in....other 2 out..................

Mule....not sure if B-Y would be in with a loss or not....they would be 5-6 but only 2-3 in conf....guess it would be possible depending other state wide results..............

Correction....if B-Y loses tonite they would be 5-5...a non conf. game was washed out a few weeks and canceled............................

NCPreps has Graham beating Cummings and Maxpreps has Cummings beating Graham. I am assuming Maxpreps is correct because is has to be, deemed by the state. So, that kinda throws a monkey wrench into my predictions a little bit. My guess is Graham and JM will win putting Graham 2nd, JM 3rd, and BY a WC. Cummings will be out of playoffs.

In that scenario, JM goes West and becomes a #13 or #14 seed. Polk goes to #15, W Wilkes goes to #16 and E Rutherford gets knocked out.

West Bladen should be #13 and BY, Farmville, and Goldsboro will draw for #14,#15, and #16.

The above Predictions have been updated with this scenario.

That was a typo!!!! Supposed to be Goldsboro. Thanks for pointing that out. I have corrected it.

Can't believe how some of these websites can't get scores right. In past years, 5 wins gets you in the playoffs. Hope that is true this year for BY.

Depending on how the draw goes, it will affect it quite a bit as far as seedings. I don't think teams will be add or dropped but some teams may get better or worse seeds. How's A-G's chances tonight?

50/50 till the whistle blows....... But I like AG at home with it being senior night and conference title on the line. A lot to play for and a lot on the line. I expect a hard fought battle between both teams.
