WVa. 39th in population...only 2 of the smaller 11 states (WYOMING, Vermont, Alaska, ND, SD, Delaware, RI, Montana, Maine, New Hampshire and HAWAII) have FBS teams...Wyoming and Hawaii, both in the Mountain West Conference.

Pretty hard to be competitive with scraps from other states...it's amazing WVU has won what they have.
