Smiled About Husker Football This Morning

Damon Benning telling all kinds of stories on 1620 this morning due to the 30 for 30 last night. Just awesome stuff that brought back a ton of memories. Talked about how hostile the Colorado games were and when they walked out of our stands wearing shirts that said, "The Real Blackshirts". Talked about when Calvin Jones broke that long TD and literally unstrapped his helmet about 5 yards out of the endzone. Zach Wiegert lining up and telling the DE in front of him that they were running right up his a$$, they did, and there was nothing they could do about it.

Hadn't smiled about Husker football in a while. Pull up the podcast. Great stuff.

I had no idea that the son of Sal and McCartney's daughter played for LSU. I remember they had a son but had not heard anything about the boy. He is now a GA at Colorado.
