Miles is ranked way too high. Coaches who win in spite of themselves shouldn't be ranked so high.

Chizik is also ranked way too high. Anyone would have won with Nick Fairly and Cam Newton. His record without those two is quite medicore.

After Franklin goes 8-4 & wins the Peach Bowl, then maybe you put him at #5.

Otherwise, this guy is just ranking Franklin #5 as a method to taunt the SEC coaches he ranks 6-14.

A monkey for a head coach could have won a NC at Auburn with Cam Newton.

Franklin, who has a losing record, is the 5th best coach in the conference behind three guys that have NCs and a guy that has average 9 wins a season for more than a decade. What a joke.

And if we are trending down while potentiallstarting next year7-0, I wonder what trending up looks like.

And while I dont think Joker or Dooley are very good coaches, ranking Bucky ahead of them is laughable. The dude has not coached one game in the SEC yet and he is starring down an 0-8 SEC record in 2012.

incorrect. Derek Dooley being last is a littleextreme IMO. I bet they go bowling this year. That offense should be pretty good. Their defense will be laughable though.

lost all credibility, archimedes, when he said our team last season was our best (talent??) ever. I would have to easily give that to the 2010 squad, and no I'm not solely basing that on records.

Not only all Of the things everyone above me stated, but how could he say Mullen has to do better at developing talent? The mother17er turned Chris Relf into a QB that won 9 games in a season and won back to back bowl games. That's working miracles, not just developing talent.

Even taking Mullen out of the equation though, there are several coaches (if not all of them) way out of place on this list, so I'm guessing this article was written solely to stir the pot and get people linking it everywhere. You can't legitimately have Bucky ahead of anyone, or Franklin that high, without being high yourself....no credibility. He did get Saban right, but 1-14 ain't good unless you're in our batting order.

how are we falling when we could potentially start the season 7-0, no worse than 5-2?

I think Mullen should be higher than 8th, butI may bea little biased. Franklin has done a good job at Vandy, but no way he's in the top half. #10-#12 could be in any random order and not be far off.
