If the Offense didn't milk the clock we would be even much better. The OL needs some work as well but with the uptempo offense you can hide their poor coaching.
When the offense looks its worse is when they are trying to stay on the field to help the D.

If I'm Gran I go for broke every week and let Stoops try to keep up.

The fact that snell hasnt been playing till today is unbelievable. .he and boom are a perfect 1 2 punch...ofcourse, against even mediocre teams, our line will get killed so there will be no holes to run through...and for steven johnson, hes got moxy and is pretty talented but will get intercepted often against Sec defenses.

Actually heard Timmons' name called today too. I forgot he was still on the team.
Because our prior QBs couldn't go thru progressions and/or just scared to throw into the middle of a defense.

Towles last year, Barker this year only know how to locked in and chuck it to the outside WR's

Said the same thing in the game thread...

...the big difference today with Johnson, Snell, Conrad, and Timmons attacking the middle of the defense vs. throwing to the outside, often behind the line of scrimmage for little or no gains.

Also allowed Boom to go do his thing as long as we're in a close game.

Maybe the new coach will retain Gran, Hinshaw and Marrow. I actually have confidence in Eddie Gran and his ability to field a potent offense. But the OL coach and pretty much everyone on the defensive side of the ball should just quit now and go to truck driving school or something.
