Anyone catch this? Was I the only one who thought it was an excellent show? Drake was pretty good in most of his roles.

You aren't alone. It was a good show. This whole season has been really good, I think, and that is even with a massive cast turnover from last season. They must have hired some really good writers.

When they started with a solid job making fun of Bieber, I knew it would be a great show. I'm glad they regularly rag that kid and hope they keep it up.

They have hired a bunch of writers lately. I know the cast has a hand in the writing as well, but it's sort of a pay your dues then we start seeing what you can come up with kind of thing. Tim Robinson, who you probably don't remember from last year's cast, apparently couldn't get a skit despite most of the others saying he wrote the funniest **** they'd seen in a while. Well, he just went full time writing this year and it may be one of the reasons you're seeing better stuff. Hell, for years they couldn't end a skit well. It also helps that there are a few cast members proving they have what it takes to carry the show. Killan and McKinnon will go down as all time greats if they stick it out. And yeah... Drake was an awesome host. I was a bit wary, but didn't realize he had an acting past. Typically, it takes at least some decent acting chops to make a good host.
